Just say yes to Rue 29 Napa Valley. No really, you'll thank me later when they save you lots of money, time and stress. My now husband and I were somewhat irritated when our wedding venue required a wedding planner. I run logistics for a living, I thought to myself, why would we need to pay someone to run the day? I have to write our venue and thank them for this requirement because man, even when it's something you do for a living you can only do so much in a day and I cannot tell you how many times over the year+ that we worked with Janice that I thanked my lucky stars that we had found her. I spoke to four wedding planners before we decided on Janice. She was so much more. She was that resource at the end of the line that always knew what came next and was ready to bounce ideas. She has a fantastic sense of design and really listens to what the couple wants, advocating fiercely for that with vendors and mitigating potential family drama well before it even has a chance to surface. My husband and I don't like pushy people and from the first moment we met her, we knew she was on our team. We were super grateful for her expertise in the areas of advance (and itemized!) planning, detail orientation, conflict mitigation, budget advice and brainstorming, vendor contacts and green, eco-wedding plans. She and her team were fantastic throughout the entire planning and wedding event. We couldn't be happier with our choice and hope you will enjoy working with Rue 29 as much as we did.

Janice is an absolute pro at what she does. I can wholeheartedly recommend her to any bride; whether they are looking for a full blown planner or a month of coordinator. Janice's work and attention to detail is impeccable. I am very particular and know what I want and Janice allowed me to run with my ideas while offering advice and support. From the day we first spoke, I knew Janice was going to be a huge help in planning our wedding day. Although we hired her as a month-of coordinator, she was always available to answer any questions I had. Not only that, but her responses were always extremely thorough and timely. We exchanged countless emails and phone calls, and through it all, Janice was so genuine and kind. She never once made me feel as though I was a burden. I put all of my trust into Janice because I knew how well she knows the area and industry. That is so invaluable, especially being that we live over 2,000 miles away from where we got married. She ran a smooth (and quick!) rehearsal the day before, and the day of our wedding. She was unbelievably on the ball. I didn't have to worry about a single thing, which is exactly how it should be on your wedding day. I loved having Janice as our wedding coordinator. I will honestly miss working with her now that our wedding is over.

Janice at Rue 29 Napa was more than I could have ever asked for in a wedding coordinator. I knew she was the one for me during our initial exploratory call. In my email to her I'd told her what date and location we were thinking of for our wedding, and she came prepared with details like the exact minute the sun would be setting that evening, average temperatures and rainfall, etc. She supported the goals and ideas I had while adding her own touch of finesse and experience to make them perfect. She listened, understood, helped, worked SO hard on our behalf, and was in general just the absolute best. I thought I was a detail-minded person until I met Janice, which is just about everything you could want in a coordinator. I've said to my now-husband a thousand times since we've been married, "There is no way we could have pulled that off without Janice." If I could give 100 stars I would!

Janice and Rue 29 Napa Valley were the perfect complement to our big day! Janice really was the cruise control button that every couple needs to be able to press on their wedding day. All of the day-of preparation was nonexistent due to Janice's efforts. This really was a huge blessing to my wife and I on what otherwise would have been a hectic day. By the end of the reception Janice was family. More than a wedding planner, she was always a phone call away to help us with any needs. Even if it was just to vent, she was always quick to answer our calls. She was never pushy, always fair and honest and I believe she really delights in helping to bring couples together. Never once did I feel that our relationship was bound by contacts and budgets. Janice is a wedding planner super star! Highly recommended.

Janice is amazing!! I don't know how else to put it. I hired her for a day-of wedding coordination for my wedding in St. Helena and she far exceeded my expectations. In fact, knowing now how much work goes into planning a wedding, I would have hired her for full wedding planning. She was very willing to work with my budget and even gave me great ideas on where to save money, without ever taking away from the wedding. She is a great negotiator and knows how to get a job done right. One thing that I loved about her is that she answered my emails and calls super quick! I felt like she was always there ready to help, even during the planning phase, which was not what I originally hired her for. There were even a few times I asked for extra help on things (rehearsal lunch, welcome reception, etc.) and she was always willing to do this (outside of our day-of contract). I have told everyone I know how great she is and I know she would do an incredible job for every couple she gets the opportunity to work. Look no further, Janice Twomey at Rue 29 rocks!
