Just say yes to Rue 29 Napa Valley. No really, you'll thank me later when they save you lots of money, time and stress. My now husband and I were somewhat irritated when our wedding venue required a wedding planner. I run logistics for a living, I thought to myself, why would we need to pay someone to run the day? I have to write our venue and thank them for this requirement because man, even when it's something you do for a living you can only do so much in a day and I cannot tell you how many times over the year+ that we worked with Janice that I thanked my lucky stars that we had found her. I spoke to four wedding planners before we decided on Janice. She was so much more. She was that resource at the end of the line that always knew what came next and was ready to bounce ideas. She has a fantastic sense of design and really listens to what the couple wants, advocating fiercely for that with vendors and mitigating potential family drama well before it even has a chance to surface. My husband and I don't like pushy people and from the first moment we met her, we knew she was on our team. We were super grateful for her expertise in the areas of advance (and itemized!) planning, detail orientation, conflict mitigation, budget advice and brainstorming, vendor contacts and green, eco-wedding plans. She and her team were fantastic throughout the entire planning and wedding event. We couldn't be happier with our choice and hope you will enjoy working with Rue 29 as much as we did.
